Kumarakom, Kochi and Chennai Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Chennai in the afternoon.
Meet and greet with our accompanied Guide and transfer to Hotel
Mamallapuram OR Mahabalipuram is a city between the Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake in Tamilnadu.
This city is known for its temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty.

Day 2
Breakfast in the morning at the hotel.
In the afternoon visit Five Rathas is a complex of monuments in the district of Kancheepuram in Tamilnadu Five Rathas is an example of Indian monolithic architecture carved into the rock. This complex was carved during the reign of King Narasimhavarman-I (630-668 AD). Later we will The Shore Temple (built in 700-728 AD) is so called because it faces the coast of the Bay of Bengal. This temple is a structural temple, built with blocks of granite, dating from the eighth century. At the time of construction, this entire site was a busy port during the reign of Narasimhavarman II of the Pallava dynasty. As a member of the Monuments Group in Mahabalipuram, it has been classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1984. Overnight at the hotel.

Departure to Pondicherry, a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, it is now a Union territory in the state of Tamil Nadu. His French legacy is preserved in the French Quarter, with elegant boutiques and tree-lined streets.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Tanjore (Thanjavur), en-route, visit the local towns and the market and, upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.Thanjavur has many temples. Temple Brihadeswara of the eleventh century, a complex of temples of the Chola dynasty with a very cool interior. Visit the Temple and later the Maratha Palace and the Saraswathi Mahal Library with palm leaf manuscripts, as well as the Thanjavur Art Gallery with bronze statues. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Madurai en-route visit to Trichy.
Trichy or Tiruchirappalli is an older city of Tamilnadu Visit the Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple with carved gopurams and later visit the Rock Fort Temple complex, which rises above the center of the city.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.Later, visit Madurai, the Dravidian-style temple is an important pilgrimage site of Madurai. Millions of Hindus attended this temple in the processions and ceremonies of the Chithirai Festival in April, which celebrates Meenakshi and Lord Vishnu. Later, visit the Tirumalay Nayak palace and then walk through the colorful Bazaar of the city, where you will find aromatic herbs and many flower stalls. Today we will drive to Munnar at 1,600 meters above sea level.
Morning: visit of Meenakshi Sundareswara
Munnar is a city in the Western Ghats mountain range in Kerala. A hill station and an old complex for the elite of the British Empire, Munnar, surrounded by hills dotted with tea plantations established at the end of the 19th century. Later, drive to Spice Plantation and stop at a plantation to walk to pie.

Day 7

In the morning we will visit the local town and walk through the town.
Later visit the famous Museum of the Team:
The Tea Museum is a museum of history and industry in Munnar, the Tata Tea Museum is its official name, but it is also known as Nalluthanni Estate where it is located, or Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Tea Museum.Visit the local market and people to meet the local people and see the town.Overnight at Hotel.

DEPARTURE by road to Kottayam to reach the pier.
Arrival afternoon in the Backwaters region: board the houseboat

Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom.
