Colombo, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Meet upon arrival at Colombo International Airport.
Our local representative will meet you in the arrivals hall.
After meet and greet, transfer to Negombo & Overnight at the hotel

Visit in Negombo:this tour will cover the best places to visit in the coastal city of Negombo.
There are many things to see in Negombo including the Negombo Lagoon, the fish market and more.
Despite being a popular beach destination, there is a significant history behind the city.

Enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is home to 84 elephants and is open to the public. They are being cared for, fed and trained by wildlife authorities.
The best time to visit is during feeding hours, when one will have the opportunity to see bottle-fed baby elephants. you can accompany the elephants to a nearby river and see the elephants bathing every day.

Visit Kandy: the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site.
The name Kandy evokes visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhalese king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806, visit Kandy town and bazaar. You will visit "Dalada Maligawa", the most sacred place for Buddhists all over the world - the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. See the cultural show in the evening.Overnight at the hotel

Excursion to Nuwara Eliya:- visit Ramboda Falls: Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) high and the 11th tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th tallest waterfall in the world. It is located in the Pussellawa area, on the A5 motorway at Ramboda Pass. It is formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya.Hakgala Botanical Garden: The gardens (27ha) were established in 1860 as an experimental plantation of Cinchona from which quinine, an antimalarial drug, is derived. The gardens were later used for experiments acclimating temperate zone plants to life in the tropics. Today, Hakgala's gardens of roses, shrubs, ferns and montane forests are delightfully set in a healthy environment, with small streams running through them and wooden bridges built over them with birds flying everywhere.
The charm of the gardens, the cool and shady atmosphere and the enchanting landscapes ease your mind and free you from your anxieties. Later tea tasting at Nuwara Eliya tea factory.

Boat safari on the Madhu River: Madhu River Boat Safari: - In the southern region of Sri Lanka is the Galle district. Balapitiya is a small town in the district and would be unimportant; except for the location of a river. The Madu River is very rich in biodiversity. It passes through the wetlands of Sri Lanka and opens into the great Madu Lagoon on its way to the Indian Ocean.
The Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery: Sea Turtle Conservation Project was established to protect the Sri Lankan turtle from extinction. Kosgoda is a major turtle nesting site and the project engages the local fishing community in its efforts to conserve the turtles by monitoring their activity and conserving nesting sites.
Turtle hatcheries are good for the environment, save lives, and are incredibly fun.
There are some lovely ones on the coast, especially in and around the Kosgoda area.

Colombo Half Day City Tour: Colombo, like many capitals in developing countries, is rapidly changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers rise from where old buildings once stood. However, in some parts the charm of the Old World is preserved. As an example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British-built colonial buildings. Other places of interest include the Pettah Bazaar where you can buy bargains, the Old Parliament in Fort, a Hindu and Buddhist temple, residential areas where the stately homes of the wealthy are located, and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall - BMICH, a gift direct to Sri Lanka.
